An anticlastic statue

When I set my eyes on this statue I was amazed: a huge size anticlastic shape. I found it in the village Chamonix in the French Alps. The statue stands in the yard of a building which was in the process of remodeling. The statue is in poor condition. I wondered whether they plan to renovate it as well. I hope they will not give up on the statue since it is really beautiful especially on the green background of the mountains.
