The first
stages of fabricating a double helix and fabricating a ruffled shape seems to
be identical. In both you prepare a very tight coil. The difference lies in the
way the coil is opened.
As I wrote in a
previous post and as can be seen in the photo, I became pretty good in making
the double helix, yet I just don’t get the process of creating ruffles (I'm not
going to show photos of unsuccessful attempts).
