I bought this mallet (first photo)
because of its miniature size which was perfect for fabricating small size
items, such as anticlastic jewelry. However, after working with it for a short
time I realized that it didn't do the work. Because the mallet had a low weight,
its blow had very little force.
Here comes my somewhat primitive,
very low tech, solution:
I attached to it (with scotch tape) a 50 gram weight. The result
(second photo) is not very elegant but works very well, just right blows. I am
satisfied with my modified mallet!
