The process of fabricating a synclastic spiral is described
in detail in the book "Creative Metal Forming" by Betty Helen Longhi
and Cynthia Eid. I followed the instructions as best I could with the tools
that I have.
The synclastic spiral is actually a bead that can be worn
strung on a chain. Yet the one I made is, in my opinion, too long. I intend to
experiment more with its proportions.
