3,000 years old beads from Mycenae

Mycenae is an archeological site in Greece, located about 90 kilometers southwest of Athens. In the second millennium BC, Mycenae was one of the major centers of Greek civilization. The archeological museums in Athens and in Mycenae have large displays of mycenaean artifacts including: masks, weapons, ceramics, sculptures and jewelry. The Mycenaeans were known as expert goldsmiths yet I will focus on their beads. I love these necklaces which are more than 3,000 years old!
