When I spotted this strand of graduated Carnelian
teardrop beads in a gem shop it looked so nice that I bought it although I had
no idea about its future use.
After a couple of years I have combined
those teardrops with round lapis lazuli beads and a silver bead cap to create a
necklace. My intention was to generate quite a contrast by combing blue with
orange (first photo).
After a couple of years I came to the
conclusion that I don’t really like it. I took the necklace apart and restrung
it without the blue, using only carnelian beads (second photo).
Now, it looks too orange, maybe I should
add beads in other colors as well! TO BE CONTINUED……..
