Balconies of Malta

From my trip to Malta, I want to show a selection of balconies. When I came to Malta, I did not know that colorful balconies are a well-known feature of the local architecture. Yet their presence is so dominant that it was impossible not to notice them right away. Most of the balconies are made of wood and they come in a variety of colors, sizes and textures. It is thought to be the result of Spanish influence.  I'm aware that I've chosen to display a large number of photos, but it's just a small part of the photos I've taken.
