Synclastic short spiral beads - made of silver

Recently I practiced quite a bit preparing synclastic spiral beads, first of copper and then of silver. Hence I felt ready to fabricate a gold bead. But the flat patterns of my beads are 10 cm long or even longer, while gold sheets are manufactured in a standard with of 7 cm. I realized that if I wanted to avoid the purchase of a very large gold sheet that will cost me a fortune I have to experiment with 7cm long patterns. A tight closure bead of that size I've already made so now I've made a loose closure one.
