While digging in my
"Jewelry for renovation" box I came upon a pair of citrine set forged earrings
which seemed really nice. I could not remember what made me decide that these
earrings need repair or renovation. In preparation for sale I've polished them
and took pictures for documentation (I made them before I started taking pictures
of each piece I fabricate). When
I examined the photos the mystery was solved: one earring is larger than the
other. At that time this was a sufficient reason for me to decide to shelve the
earrings. Today however, I define it as part of the charm of handmade jewelry compared
to industrial series production. It remains to be seen whether a customer will
think like me!
