Synclastic spiral beads - made of copper

Making metal beads is an old love of mine. Over the past two decades I have created beads using a variety of techniques. About two years ago I've made several spiral beads. These beads are unique in that they are made of one sheet of metal without any soldering. The process of fabricating a synclastic spiral bead is described in detail in the book "Creative Metal Forming" by Betty Helen Longhi and Cynthia Eid. I followed the instructions as best I could with the tools that I had. The beads came out a bit "too nice", meaning they were neat and tight. During the last month I went back to the process but this time my goal was to come up with loose closure beads.
