I learned this technique at the workshop "Creative
Hammering – Anticlastic and Synclastic Forming". The instructor Cynthia Eid demonstrated the fabrication process on the last day but I didn’t
have enough time to practice.
I anticlasted
a loose coil which I prepared from a strip
of metal and with my hands formed the shape. At
each end I have added a pearl. My intention was to create a ball shape. Well,
perhaps next time….
