Citrine, Rutilated Quartz and gold necklace

I have created this necklace to match the citrine earrings and cluster pendant I have showed in my previous post. The necklace is made from the same citrine drop beads with small rutilated quartz rondelles and a gold clasp.

As a general rule I prefer to create a complex look by layering matching pieces of jewelry than by creating or wearing large jewelry items. Yet I wonder if wearing this necklace together with the earrings and with the cluster pendant is not too much.
