This is me wearing my beautiful sterling silver synclastic
spiral bead in the restroom of the faculty of food engineering where I
teach. As a lined forward to wash my
hands I was admiring my bead thinking how didn’t I realize before how long it
was. Well it took me a few seconds to recognize that it was an illusion. Now
