I have fabricated a copper synclastic spiral bead several months
ago. This time I have used sterling silver instead of copper and I made it
shorter. The new version measures about 6 centimeters, which is still quite
long.
The process of fabricating a synclastic spiral is described in
detail in the book "Creative Metal Forming" by Betty Helen Longhi and
Cynthia Eid. I followed the instructions as best I could with the tools that I
have.
