Lately I've decided to renew my own aquamarine & yellow gold
jewelry. I took apart a pendant with a cabochon and hanged the stone from a
relatively large bail which was shaped over an anticlastic mandrel to get the
curvature. The remodeled pendant can be worn on a gold chain and on an
aquamarine bead necklace. I have fabricated a pair of earrings and a pendant
using the petal bead cap design which I have developed during the past months. The
pieces look so nice together that I wish I could wear the entire set of jewelry
at the same time!
