Handmade jewelry pricing considerations

In most of the formulas which I found, in journals and on the web, jewelry price was based on three components which are manipulated (in many ways) to give the final retail or wholesale price.

These components are: Time it took to fabricate, Cost of materials, Overhead costs.

In the following posts I would like to share the problems which I experienced when I have tried to evaluate these costs.
