Found object jewelry are not my thing. You
have to take a lot of trouble looking for suitable objects and then the design
is dictated by your stock. I would much rather use gold and silver combined
with gems. But when I received two round paper clips the impulse to join them
was irresistible. As it happened during a long flight, a nice flight attendant and
me had enough time to collect more paper clips from other people around. I was
hoping to gather as much as needed for a long chain, about 70-80 cm. Yet the
final length of my chain is shorter, about 45 cm. Well, maybe on my next flight
I will collect enough to complete the chain.
